Delivery Information
Pearsons Glass offers delivery through a range of carrier services as well as our own fleet of specialist glass-carrying vehicles. We cover 99% of the UK with our in-house Pearsons Glass van fleet, helping us provide dependable delivery support for standard and specialist orders alike. Standard delivery is typically completed in 3 to 5 working days, Monday to Friday, and applies to UK mainland destinations and Lowlands Scotland unless stated otherwise.

Delivered by Carrier and In-House Fleet
Pearsons Glass uses a mix of carrier services and our own specialist delivery vehicles to support orders of different sizes and requirements. Our in-house van fleet allows us to handle a large proportion of deliveries directly, while pallet and courier services remain available where needed. This combination gives us more flexibility when dealing with fragile materials, larger quantities, pallet orders and specialist glass shipments.
Important Delivery Details
Shipping charges: Charges are calculated using the total packaged weight of the order, including the items, courier service and packaging materials. Your shipping charge will normally be visible before you commit to purchase, unless the shipping address is within the Highlands or Islands, where additional charges may apply.
48 hour service: This is a traceable service based on orders placed before midday. Orders placed after midday will be treated as placed on the following working day.
Pallet orders: Where possible, pallet orders will be delivered using our own fleet of vehicles. Where that is not possible, items will be securely packed and sent through a pallet network service. Price will be confirmed before shipping and additional charges may apply.
Click & Collect: Collection is from our Art Glass shop in Liverpool, L5 9RJ, during opening hours. Orders are generally ready the following day, but if your order is urgent, please call and the team will prioritise collection where possible.
Regional and Delivery Exceptions
Lowlands Scotland: Some postcodes may take up to 5 working days for delivery.
Highlands and Islands: Delivery charges and timescales will be confirmed after the order has been received, and the team will contact you directly.
Neighbours and safe place deliveries: Pearsons Glass and our courier services reserve the right to leave a delivery with a neighbour or in a safe place where appropriate. If you do not want goods left in this way, that instruction must be included with your order.
Order Queries and Breakage Cover
Any query or discrepancy with your order must be confirmed by email to artglass@pearsons-glass.co.uk within 3 days of the delivery date. Claims made after this period may not be accepted.
Pearsons Glass does not accept returns for special order items, cut to size items or goods that have been used.
Breakage cover: Breakage cover can be purchased when ordering, giving you protection against damage on arrival. If breakage cover is not selected, replacement goods may need to be purchased again if damage occurs in transit. For any returned items from an order that originally qualified for free delivery, Pearsons Glass reserves the right to deduct delivery or returns costs incurred from the refund.
Free Delivery Over £40
Pearsons Glass offers free delivery on online retail orders over £40 to UK mainland addresses, subject to conditions. This applies only to online retail customers, excludes remote areas, Highlands and Islands, and is limited to orders up to a maximum weight of 20 kg. Split deliveries, back orders, oversized items, cut to size glass and items requiring additional packaging are not included in the free delivery offer. Delivery will be made using the most economical suitable service.
