Work surface dimensions: 22 x 27cm Blade neck depth: 12cm Maximum thickness of cutting material: 7.6cm for rocks and minerals, 2.5cm for solid glass plates, 8.9cm diameter for glass bottles Cutting speed: Depending on material type and thickness up to 30.5cm/minute Machine dimensions: 33 x 25 x 45cm Construction of saw housing: Thermoplastic in structural quality. Motor type: Permanent magnet DC motor with integrated speed regulator delivering speeds up to 3,400 rpm. Voltage: 230V/240V Torque: 48 oz.-in Sound: This band saw sounds like a loud sewing machine. In general, saws and sawing machines are noisy by nature. Water: This bandsaw comes with a drain hose, but the unit is not completely sealed due to its design. We recommend placing a tray (not included) of your choice under the saw. Some users use both a tray and a sponge to absorb excess water. Saw housing: This band saw housing is made of composite plastics that will not rust. Outstanding features of this saw: - The five-piece spring-loaded tensioning system is moulded into the frame for proper axis adjustment, easy band saw adjustment and perfect tracking hour after hour. - The spring-loaded tensioning system acts like a shock absorber, extending the life of the diamond-covered saw blade.... - The pre-assembled coolant system provides a continuous, regulated flow of clean coolant to the bandsaw blade so that your saw blade is properly lubricated during sawing. Built-in water control valve allows easy control of water flow while working. - Built-in internal drain channels and drain pipes collect and direct excess, dirty coolant away from the saw blade and prevent it from circulating through the saw.
